Sometimes life requires more than what your family, friends, peers, and community can offer. If problems aren’t managed by a culture who won’t recognise an aspect, or continues taking a superficial approach, then it’s time for deeper influences to make their mark. Throw away your standard manual mum and dad, because you guys got served a Variant. Also, good luck with that… since you’ll both absolutely need it!
Rather than being completely cultured by my environment up close, strategically hidden influences flew in from the outskirts. Somehow the Raw Static would increasingly translate or get decoded by my processor, which caused me to act in different ways while very few were aware of what was truly going on. Always looking strangely preoccupied, and now behaving contrary to my bad habits for no apparent reason (putting me on a healthier track for once), my shape today undeniably came from beyond the monoculture as I was able to attract intricate qualities from both close-range and distant influences.
In a sense, I harnessed a mix of influential properties coming from the embodied and disembodied that most people mainly take from the one source, the embodied. Hence, the multidimensional-cultured effects, which can easily be perceived as a grey area from within the community. And, as with all grey areas, they can spark hostilities from all the uncertainty alone.
My experience tells me that people act up over what they don’t fully understand. But I also get why they react this way. It wasn’t that long ago when humans were being burnt at the stake for mere suspicion of possessing or crafting unconventional, non-localised influences. Therefore, I should be grateful that I only have to endure the odd look or the backhanded remark for my odd ways nowadays.
