A Tricky Challenge

Plagued by a bizarre learning barrier I’d never seen before, I knew I had to get to the bottom of it asap. I had to stop wasting both my time and energy stuck in a revolving door.

Next, and only after a good deal of watching these cunning intentions of mine manoeuvring the backend over the years, would my feelings toward the matter of ‘fully understanding’ strengthen. Something profound happened in a transformation that re-energised my situation. Or another crucial game-changer unravelled since I’d finally see a bad habit block life.

Although, admittedly, it was hard to spot and let go of each stale learning occurrence at the beginning because I also loved sharing and duplicating the habit onto my friends, family and anyone else, who’d naturally spread the trait on. Oh, crap. We’ve got a virus!

Therefore, my subtle cutback from ‘forcing myself to understanding’ or ‘constantly replaying information surrounding an alleged incomplete understanding’ was definitely enough to start unwinding or unlearning from what kept me in circles before.

I wanted to absorb the world in front or inline with my interests, but without accumulating or mental-hoarding onto each event. Which, I find, nearly everyone can manage better than me. 😩

Releasing My Second-Hand Understanding

So by NOT continuing the impractical fascination of a better understanding into something that had already dealt its card, meant I’d finally left enough quality room upstairs to energise and learn the next crucial piece of the puzzle, by getting out of my own way!

I figured, whatever experiences were to follow from here, I’d now have a much better chance in understanding without all the theatre behind. Therefore, my trust went into this completely backwards approach, with the trade-off being,  I was to let go of the replay to allow quality in,  which, at first, is a little tricky to catch and release because I’m so ingrained to carry on.

Stop the replay
Say NO to heavy idling & constant duplication/replaying when understanding something.
